Name: Irren
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Race: Modified Human
Power: Teleportation
Alliance: Neutral
Personality: Not a girl to play around with, or lie too. She is not favored of killing, though she will do it without regret, or remorce. She can be ruthless, and hardheaded, most of the time listening only to Vaor, and sometimes not even him. she is not one to trust easily, and will only show respect to those whom show her it first. Being a thief, she is automaticaly wary of any and all people, not too sure if they are wanting to turn her in for a bit of silver. Yet, she dosn't wory too much about capture, her skills with blades, and bows, and almost any other wepon, is quite adiquate, and she knows how to beat most men using her whits, and adgility rather than strength.
She is also something of a flirt, though only 'unleashing' this side when either most nesisary, or when she finds a man extreamly plesant looking. She knows how to talk to me, and will hardly ever get tongue tied around them. She grew up with her father and two brothers, and her closest companion is male, so she is not afraid of men. Sometimes it will seem that she dosn't even notice a diffrence between males and females, though she dose even if she dosn't show it.
Appearance: Red curly hair frames a pritty face that clearly has never been bothered by acne of any kind. Yet, it dose have a mass of freckles just below the eyes, and across her nose. Her hair is quite floofy, and messy seeming. Yet it isn't. You can run your fingers through it and not hit one snag. She is a fan of bright, bright clothing, witch she covers over with a well worn- black cloak. Her eyes are a celery green that is set off quite well by the black she paints around her eyes to help keep some of the sun from her eyes.
Relations: Vaor
Other:
Sample Post: {Hope you don't mind that it is a human and slightly confusing if you don't know the sight that it is from}
How long had it been since she had contact with people, or creatures of any kind? It had to of been a month... At least the minimum interaction saved her from awkward questions: 'Where you from?''You sure? You don't look like a Ruklin to me?' 'You sure your not from around here, you look familiar to me?' 'Are you sure you don't know me?'. That last was always brought up. Of cores, she didn't know them, though they knew her, or at least had seen her. The Hybridons had a few pictures of her posted in towns. 'Infected with the madness, if encountered, report to authority immediately.' Of cores, no one looked at the picture long enough to take her to memory, and those that did, she somehow managed to avoid. Normally you could tell if a person was watching you, or thought you sick with some contagious madness, you could see it in the way their eyes where always watching you, though they attempted to seem innocent, and in how they carefully avoided contact with even your clothing. Ha! As if she where contagious, all she had was a dislike for those filthy worms that where starting to take over the planet. Her planet. Well, not her planet, but ever since childhood, she had thought of Myadra as 'her planet'. It had to have something to do with being of royal lines, and after leading a house for three years as a child, she might as well think the whole galaxy hers. Yet, she didn't really think it hers, just referred to it that way in her own mind, she didn't want responsibility for a whole world resting on her shoulders, she couldn't even bare the responsibility of running a house.
Well, running a house was a bit of an understatement. Running an empire was more like it. Yet, she had done it, at a young age too. Eleven was when she took the crown, to be exact. Though she had the help of her two elder, foster brothers, and mother, she had fled her position not more than three years later. Coward. That was another word she used only within the confines of her brain. She wasn't a cowered to be exact, she would face any challenge put before her, and hope to succeed, yet she knew she feared commitment, responsibility, and peer pressure. Ah yes, that is what she feared the most, letting others govern her life. She feared that one day someone would come along and tell her what to do, force her against her will to do what she did not wish to do. Of cores, that had already taken up most of her younger years, but she feared that it would consume her older years too. Yet, so long as she stayed out of hand of the Hybridons, she should of be fine. Yet, why the Hybridons wanted her was a question that her mind had issues grasping. They said she had a 'gift' for knowledge and mechanics. Yet, she knew her little 'gift' was little more than a brain that worked like one of the fowl snakes computers, allowing her to take in information at a speed that would leave most others stunned. Yet, why they wanted her for that, she didn't know, the best she could puzzle out was so that she could research more techknowledgy for them. Huh, as if they didn't have enough. All they really wanted, was to know how to make the floating islands, and if that was why they wanted her, because they thought she had information they wanted, they where out of luck.
Shifting her position, she ground her teeth in annoyance as a small stone continued to press into her shoulder blade, her movement making the pain worse rather than better. Blowing gently through her gritted teeth, she made an annoyed hissing sound. Bloody stones where everywhere. Sitting up slightly, she wiggled a bit to her left, and lay down again. Now two stones pressed into her back, one just above her right hip, and the original stone just on the edge of her shoulder. She could of cursed, or screamed in annoyance, though did neither. Instead she sighed resignedly, and let her head fall back against her arms, witch where folded behind her head, hands gently gripping elbows. She lay flat on her back, staring up at a tree limb full of leaves, and just through the emerald green objects, she could see the stars. Where she lay, was upon an island in the middle of a large lake. She was quite near the water, and a pebbly shore, thus the reason for all the small stones spearing into her back. The island floated only a few feet from shore, more a cut-off piece of land, thus the reason for the branch, yet she felt as though she where on a ship in the middle of the sea. Well, minus the gulls, and the rocking, that was. Yet, gentle breezes made the tree branch above her sigh and creek, and the waves slapped on another on their way to the pebbly shore as did waves in the wake of a boat. She was not sure if the feeling of being on a boat was comforting or not. She had been on a boat many times during her two year stay in Faber Village, and she enjoyed the feeling of being alone, with no one there to stab you in the back. On the other hand, a boat could sink at any moment.
That last thought was not quite so appealing to her, as where the memories the thought of Faber Village brought back. Her brother and mother had been killed for being infected by the madness, and not even rightly so. It was her fault they where killed. Had she not fled, the Hybridons would not of taken it out on them... No, definitely not pleasant memories. Drawing her mind from thoughts of her past, she realized that she still clenched her jaw. Carefully loosing the muscles, she opened her mouth, and made a chewing motion to loosen the joint. Closing her mouth again, she sighed through her nose. She was not gaining what she had aimed to gain by coming here. Sleep. She had not slept for the past two days, and the world moved by so oddly, as if it where in slow motion. As if the thought of not sleeping triggered it, she yawned. God she was existed, yet couldn't sleep. She could lye there all night, with thoughts of something, or nothing going through her mind, and just continue to count the stars. She wondered what time it was, though didn't make a move to look for the moon. It didn't matter what time it was, it was at least midnight. Another yawn. Well, lying here with stones making holes in her back wasn't about to get her any closer to sleep, she might as well get up and explore a bit, or just walk until she finally passed out from lack of sleep. Sighing again, she lifted her head, and unfolded her arms, ignoring the stiff soreness the position had put in her shoulders. Sitting up, she rolled her shoulders slightly as her electrifyingly blue eyes glanced around her.
Darkness cloaked most of the lands from her eyes, making it impossible for her to make out more than what was a few paces beyond where she sat, that and the water reflecting the stars. As she looked out across the lake, a slight smile tugged at her lips. The stars reflected in the pitch black water made it seem she was floating upon eternity, within the sky of lights. On a ship in the middle of those eternal lights. That last thought turned her smile into a slight grin, not a happy grin, but a peaceful feeling one. Folding her legs into a pretzel, she gazed out at the water around her, wishing there was some way to convey the picture she saw to a piece of paper, or to another’s mind, to allow someone else to enjoy the beauty of it. Yet, she couldn't draw worth a scrap, and there was no chances of her getting hands on one of those 'cameras' that the Hybridons had brought. Blinking, she lifted one of her arms from resting in her lap, and seemingly out of habit pulled her loose ponytail around to hang in front of her shoulder. The movement was accompanied by the sound of bracelets clicking together as her arm moved. Pausing, her fingers lingered over the golden ring tied into the knot that held her hair like a hair band. Her father had given her that. Not her blood father of cores, but her father had given her that before he died. Realizing that her eyes roamed over the water, mind idly wondering if her father was one of those glowing lights, she quickly snatched her hand down from her hair, and clasped it with the other in her lap. They where not spirits, they where stars, great fireballs of combusting gases.
Yes, she did need sleep, or at least a distraction from her past. It was offered in the form of near-silent wing flaps descending towards her. She didn't look up, and didn't move at all as sharp talons easily grasped her left shoulder. For a moment, the talons seemed to shift before they found a good grip. Once the claws settled, the woman looked to her shoulder. Upon it sat a regal falcon, its head held high, its golden eyes watching her with extreme intelligence. Leaning down the bird nipped her affectionately on the nose, before straitening again, and resettling its wings, and tilting its head. The nip hurt, though the bird meant good by it, so smiling at the brown bird, she released her right hand from her left hands death grip, and gently stroked the birds white chest. In a soft, cooing voice, she said to the creature, "Thats a pretty bird Silvic. Did you have a nice flight? I'm sure you did for your wings are so perfectly silent." The birds wings where shuffled again at the woman’s voice, her rolling accent adding to the soft words, and giving them a very calming though prideful air. Clicking its beak the bird watched the woman through slitted golden eyes. Spoild bird.. The woman thought watching the little creatures smug expression. She also had a horse, though he was in a cave on the main land. For some reason the creature hated water with a passion, and had refused to come with her to the island. He would of come had she truly needed him to, though no use in forcing him against his will without need.
Lowering her hand from the bird, she lowered it to the ground beside her, and feeling along the smooth pebbles, found her quarterstaff. Picking it up, she stood, careful not to disturb the bird. If she was going to walk, she might as well get to it. As she stood, the bird flapped its wings to catch its balance, though regaining it, the bird settled again, shifting closer to her head so that its wing brushed against her curly brown hair. Sighing, she turned twords the mainland. Yet as she did so a movement caught her eye, and the hawk on her should sudenly came alert. Someone or something was there. Holding her staff in both hands, she continued to watch the mainland for signs of whatever it was
