War has come. The two great forces will soon meet in battle- the Light and the Dark. Those who stay neutral will stand on the sidelines. Will your alliance win? Or will you be left, broken of body and soul, as dead? Only time can tell you the end of your path.
Okay, we now have the site up and running. Finally. we don't have to many members, so I'm going to ask you to advertise wherever you can. We'll have an affiliate banner sooner or later. Just not right now. The site's layout may change without notice, so do not be alarmed. I may decide to make it so it plays music. Probably guitar vs. piano if I ever get the ambition. So any music may be the work of me. Thats all right now.

After the end of Thread in 2556, Pern went through a time of great peace, referred to often as the Golden Years of Pern. The Weyrs dispersed, leaving only Telgar and Ista open as liaisons between the Dragonriders and the Holds. Weyrholds began to appear all across the South for a time, as the planets many verdant queens continued to clutch well. It was a glorious time of technological and cultural advancement.
As the Turns passed and the Planet grew, the one thing that began to steadily shrink was the Weyrs. Dragonriders began to consolidate in the South, and in the North the two Weyrs barely clung to existence; eking through by one queen at a time. It soon came that only three Weyrs lasted on Pern, Telgar and Ista in the North (though they were on the brink of their own decimation) and Iayla Weyrhold in the South. The Holds had long since stopped supporting the Weyrs and with all the Southern Weyrholds gone, Telgar and Ista had to resort to thievery and underhandedness to survive. Then tragedy struck the few dragonriders of the North.
The last queen of Telgar, great Islarth, passed between without an heir. There were no other queens to continue her lineage. The Weyr was devastated, worried they would be forced to consolidate with either Iayla or Ista like so many other dragonholds had done. But then the Weyrleader of Telgar concocted a plan.
On the Sands of Ista Weyr’s Hatching Grounds lay a glittering golden egg, an unconscious sign of the dangers that were to come. Telgar made plans to steal it, and were successful, hatching golden Mairsath to their own candidate. Ista was furious, and in the sky that day dragon fought dragon, a thing that had rarely been seen on Pern, and never anything other than golds in heat. But five dragons lost their lives that day, testament to the pain that the North was to face in the near future.
And so began the War of the Weyrs. Ista and Telgar continued to fight for each others queens, sly assassinations and underhanded deaths being the main form of warfare, and dragon never again fought dragon. The Northern Weyrs barely clung to life, while in the South things began to change.
The queens were dying out there as well, and Weyrholds began to consolidate until few remained. It was at this time that a single Weyr was formed Iayla, made from refugees and runaways from the Northern Weyrs. The escape wasn’t a clean one, and brave Iayla and her dragon lost their lives to save those of the people they loved. So the greenrider’s name became a beacon in the night. And women from the North began to seek out Iayla as a safe haven for themselves. The few remaining Southern Weyrholds banded together beneath this growing symbol of hope, and Iayla began to grow strong.
Meanwhile in the North things began to escalate. Dragonriders began recruiting young Holders, either by force or by consent, to join their newly formed armies. Planned marches led by dragonriding leaders tromped across the lands, scaring holders and craftfolk alike. In the Weyrs themselves queens became a commodity. The women of the Weyr became even more of a commodity, and girls began to be taken forcibly from Holds to please the many men of the Weyr.
In distant Iayla Weyr, deep in the recesses of the Western Barrier Range on the shores of the Sea of Azov, things didn’t look as bleak. While they continued to eke out a meager existence, fate was kind to them and continued to grant the Weyrhold with a queen just as the other passed on, keeping the line of dragons alive. The Southern Holds prospered, and lucky for Iayla their surplus would often spill into the struggling Weyrhold, many of the Southern Holds sympathetic to the dragons for what once was. Then news of the dragon war began to trickle South on the wings of ships and Flitters. Crafters began to withdraw their men and women from the Weyrhold, and Holders stopped sending their surplus, news of the recent strains of holder deaths because of draconic battle reaching their prejudiced ears. Life at Iayla began to go bad to worse.
Then the North noticed the abundance of dragons in the South. The Southern Holders withdrew all their resources from the Weyrhold, fear of the North’s eyes on them mounting. But before the apparent tension could release in what would have been obvious warfare, a greater tragedy struck.
It began in the same place it had ages ago, over the now abandoned Landing and the newly formed Ogen Weyrhold. Great silver strands of something only heard of in stories fell from the skies over the tiny Weyrhold. Unprepared the tiny dragonhold was decimated in that First Threadfall, a single, mutilated bronze making it to Iayla to warn the dragons of Threads return. Over 1200 Turns without Threadfall and suddenly it was back. All the Weyrs scrambled and many a Iayla dragon was lost in those initial Threadfalls. The North set a temporary truce until such time as Thread was under control.
And so we find ourselves at Iayla Weyr. Under populated, under staffed and lacking dragons. The North is on the brink of warfare once more, and Thread is Falling. There is a clutch on the Sands, laid by the late Lothereth, her only surviving daughter Selianth watching over the pale clutch of 18, a single golden egg clutched between her paws.
Not long after the hatching of The Hidden Elements Clutch, a queenrider came from the feuding North with her egg heavy queen. The Queen clutched on Iayla's Sands, but something is amiss. The goldrider says Ista tampered with her queen dragon's growing clutch with ancient and misused Eridani techniques. What hatched from the clutch changed the face of Pern forever. Three new colors now grace the skies of Pern, the male color Brass and the Females Garnet and Albino. Along with this two high colored children lost their lives on the Sands, hatched stillborn because of the tampering.
Selianth finally rose at the height of the Farlight Hold Gather, and was caught by the scarred hero of the South. Bronze Kasraith and his rider T'ren became Weyrleaders, and now Selianth's Healing Touches Clutch graces our Sands, almost bringing the Weyr full circle. But there is unrest in the North, and with Threadfall on the horizon what will happen to Selianth's new clutch?
Chronicle the world of the Dragon Riders in all of its former glory...
It is two-thousand years before the birth of the traitor Rider Galbatorix and the destruction he was to wreak upon the land and inhabitants of Alagaesia. The Dragon Riders are united, numerous, immensely powerful, and unspeakably influential. Few powers in existence can rival theirs and outwardly, all is a semblance of peace and prosperity.
But Alagaesia is a large place, populated by races diverse and dissimilar. The most cunning of Shades continue to elude their hunters; the Urgals remain restless and hunger for land; without external threat, the Human, Elven, Dwarven kingdoms have turned upon themselves and domestic crisis begin to stir. But the most disturbing trend of all is the disagreements and strife arising within the ranks of the Dragon Riders themselves. Yet these are the days of the Dragon Riders at height of their power. From within these origins, what will become your legacy?
Inheritance: Origins is an entry-level RP designed and run by advanced roleplayers to show beginners how to roleplay or help intermediate roleplayers become advanced. It's based off the fantasy world of Paolini's Eragon and Eldest but no knowledge of the books is required to play. Just like an advanced roleplay, you'll see an interesting storyline, balanced characters, and dynamic writing, but rather than expect these skills from you before you join, our entire goal is to teach them to you. As an added bonus, rather than limiting the number of Dragon Rider characters on the board, we encourage them as the preferred character type for the roleplay!
So come, Rider, and tell us of your part in the legend.

Motto: Keep It Simple
Plot: ___ Not to long ago, like most lands this one was vacant. The founder, Searren, was dark hearted. He had run from his heard taking prisoners with him to start a kingdom. They would all bow to his name. It was the most perfect plan, until the other heard it. They hated the idea, so they rebelled against him. Few stayed on his side, most stallions, some mares. The rest, a mixture of the two genders didn't run, but stood their ground. They thought no one so cruel deserved to run a kingdom such as this. They all referred to the overall land as Ameragon. No one knows why, some idea they assume.
___ During the time of building, Searren bred to as many mares as he could, to be sure he had his heirs in line. Airie, the pure rebel did the same, but to build his kingdom, not for the throne. Searren had created an army of stocky warmblooded war horses, and Airie had a line of mustangs and quarter horses, and arabs, and plenty more. They hadn't gone to "war" yet. So far, the corrupted ruled.
___ Now the unpure still reign. Something else though has happened that has kept them all from battle. Humans, (native people) to the lands have found their new stock. They try to capture them, some have released overly trained horses into the wild to make it easier. But this has brought things like strangles, and fights between mares. Searren and Airie have died off shattering the line. They both never declared the next one.
___ The darks still reign, even without a ruler. Lights still strive just to live. Food supply is low in some areas and water can be scarce.
Silver December has NO plot. This isn't the kind of site that has a set plot that you MUST follow at all times, and that restricts what you can and can't do, as well as what you RP about. It's here for people who can't seem to find the right RP, and those that want an RP of their own, but can't, or don't want to go through all of the trouble of creating their own site.
We have every kind of RP imaginable, even if it hasn't been created yet. We have a board for every kind of RP, and therefore a board for you. If you can't find what you're looking for, ask the admin (me) or another staff member to implement it for you.
The site is here for beginners and advanced RPers. People who know what they're doing are always there to help the new people get started, and keep going, as well as improve.

Chance
The First Attack “Do you ever feel like breaking down? Do you ever feel out of place? Like somehow you just don't belong And no one understands you Do you ever wanna runaway? Do you lock yourself in your room? With the radio on turned up so loud That no one hears you screaming”
All the kids in the crowd cheered. They didn’t know what was coming as the band sang loud and hard. Coming up was a chorus… which would doom every kid in the room’s soul. Banging their heads, the kids were singing along casually, as if they were so into the song, it was their entire life. Some kids screamed it, some kids whispered it, some kids just sang along at room voice, the entire room was singing. “No you don't know what it's like When nothing feels all right You don't know what it's like To be like me”
The kids now started to jump up and down, without recognizing that they were about to be taken into the Dark Army. They were all to become death eaters… but no one saw it, no one saw the devastation that was to come, they were too wrapped up in the song, it all connected to them… they had no other cares, they kept screaming and dancing along to the song. Thinking nothing could ever happen to them in this serene place… but the chorus came closer, and closer… “To be hurt To feel lost To be left out in the dark To be kicked when you're down To feel like you've been pushed around To be on the edge of breaking down And no one's there to save you No you don't know what it's like Welcome to my life”
As the words Welcome to my life came up, every kid in the room’s eyes went obsidian and suddenly, they started to rampage, they all stormed out of the doors of the underground pub/dance club and started to kill anyone in their way with their wands. They were killing every muggle within the block, and the MudBloods, they were being murdered off as well. Death To All who were not obedient to the new Dark Lord. A section of London, was under darkness control.
The Second Attack
To assume the death eaters gained knowledge ever since their first leader fell, your assumption would be very, very, very far from the truth. They attacked again. This time, the attack was located in Hogsmeade, and the Order was there to fight back. They fought long and hard, neither side gave up, their was over 100 casualties, and more than 2000 wounded. This battle brought silence upon the Magical and muggle world, but slowly, and carefully, the dark wizards began to take control.
Asia, South America, Africa, Australia, Most of Europe, and North America was all taken by the Dark Wizards, the only place remaining; England. The Order had full control of England, but for how long? No one quite knew. But now… comes School Season, The owls have been sent, and you are invited to come and help defeat the Dark wizards! Others Are invited to murder as many Order members as they can!
